Chalkstream trout

Chalkstream Trout is possibly one of our most popular products for the restaurants, in recent years it has surged in popularity. This is a highly sustainable product, and it is slow grown in controlled measures, feeding on a natural diet. They are grown in the oxygen rich waters of the Rivers Test & Itchen in Hampshire, which mimics their natural environment.

Our recommendation –

Roast in the oven, and serve on a bed of a beautiful Risotto, and Chalkstream trout pairs wonderfully with Mushroom and Leeks.
